Touring, Recording and more name changes!
By 1966, Margo & the Marvettes were recording for John Schroeder on Pye records,
"When love slips away" being the song, that was almost a hit for them, but
Margo`s name was again changed to Liza Dulittle for a single, that was a non starter.
It was during this period of time that the band was making a name for themselves on
the prestigious cabaret circuit in the north of England, plus touring a lot on the Continent,
particularly in Germany, where they were the toast of the American Bases, working with
stars like,The Original Drifters , Clarence "Frogman" Henry, Ben E. King,
The Orlons, Melba Montgomery, Clodagh Rogers, Rufus Thomas etc; so the
recording side of things took a back seat in favour of constantly touring.

Margo went on to record between breaks in touring, on
Deram/Decca records, for a trio of songwriters called Arnold,
Martin, & Morrow, who were also known as "Butterscotch" and had a hit with "Don`t you know", they also changed
Margo`s name yet again, this time to Maggie Brown,
unfortunately without the success she deserved.

IN 1972, Margo and The Marvettes broke up, and Margo formed a duo called "Take Two", with her husband Trevor, and together they set of once more, on the club circuit, and eventually ending up touring around the world for six years, taking in countries like, South Africa, Sri-Lanka, Australia, America, Europe, and in 1978, they joined a group of old friends, called the "Rock n Roll Circus", for two years.

In 1980 Margo and Trevor decided to stop touring and settle down back home in Belfast, at the Abercorn Nightclub, along with some other old friends called "Nitelife", and after a year Margo had at last got an unexpected hit with an old song "Behind the Footlights".
